Somatic Experiencing (SE) & SE Touch
Release Pain And Stress Surrounding
Various Forms Of Trauma
The body has many coping mechanisms it uses to respond to overwhelming experiences, such as accidents, natural disasters, attachment injuries or the physical/emotional effects of abuse etc.
Fight, Flight and Freeze are some of these mechanisms which are helpful in the moment, but problematic as they become an ongoing pattern in the body. That contributes to the nervous system becoming compromised, leading to disorder. These patterns produce stress that directly causes, or magnifies, the feelings associated with many types of trauma.
Somatic Experiencing (SE) & SE Touch provide deep rest and relaxation and help to restore ease and balance in the nervous system, digestive system, brain, heart and other organs. They help unwind, release and reorganize patterns held deep in the physiology. At the end of their sessions, clients often report feeling more connected, embodied and aware, as old wounds heal.
““What I love about working with Katrina are her kind eyes, her gentle acceptance, and deep empathy.
She creates a safe space for healing while making room for me to learn about old patterns and beliefs. I’m so grateful to have found her!””

This was my first time doing Somatic Experiencing and I’m grateful to have found Katrina

remnants of trauma. I felt comfortable sharing my history with her and
I felt safe delving into unresolved experiences.””
